Summer 2024 Fragrance Launches Roundup

With the summer in full swing, the fragrance industry is offering up some rejuvenating spritzers, whether it’s sultry evening scents or refreshing citruses during the day. Gourmands are still going strong (Future Market Insights predicts the category will have global value of $55 billion by 2033), as are more herbaceous and lightweight creations like fougères (pink pepper, lavender, cardamom, and petitgrain making regular appearances) to counter the sweetness of the former category. No doubt, the hotter months bring about more transparent creations, but thanks to a plethora of long-lasting aroma molecules like Amber Xtreme, Georgywood, and ambroxan, even more lightweight scents are demonstrating longer staying power, as a certain subset of consumers demand “beast mode” from their olfactory investments.

Niche Fragrance

Eau d'Italie Acqua di Positano is a refreshing green woody scent created to capture summertime in the Italian destination. Notes include orange flower absolute, citron, bitter orange, petitgrain, and driftwood. Its launch also aligns with the 20th anniversary of the original Eau d’Italie fragrance coming to market.
